What to bring on a wildflower trip
Remember to come prepared! In addition to the usual caravan and camping necessities, there are a few things you should bring with you on a wildflower trip in Western Australia. These might include:
- Food: Depending on how long your trip is, bringing food will generally be advised, and even shorter trips can benefit from the addition of healthy snacks.
- Camera: Whether you’re there just for the memories, or to catch a great shot, bringing a high-quality camera is a great idea.
- Sun protection: Even in the springtime, UV light can be harmful to the skin, so it’s often helpful to bring long sleeves, wide brimmed hats, and sunscreen.
- Backpack: A simple backpack is a great way to bring the essentials with you when you leave the caravan or tow vehicle.
